I have a Ford Focus. The warning chime is not working when I left the driver's door opened with headlight on and the ignition switched off. Thanks

You have two choices ...
Check the reprogramming of ECU on AWS next DEALER service (or ask them to check it)
Or replace the chime unit.
(If I remember correctly from my Ford days, chime can be electronically programmed ON or OFF)

how can i change program electonically by myself, thanks
Question Author
is the problem associated with fuse
1. By connecting to the ECU electronically and reprogramming it on or off.
2. No .. I seem to remember it is a common fuse with other items.

Ask a dealer on phone if "could" be booked in to program gong on or off?
See what the Service department say.
Does the interior light come on when the driver's door is opened?

I don't know Focuses, but some lights on alarms work on the interior light and headlights both being on to trigger them.
As Hopkirk suggests, take a look to see whether the interior light is coming on when the door is open. If it isn't, the problem is nothing more complex than a sticking micro-switch in the door jam. Squirt a bit of switch-cleaner (or even WD40) into it and you'll probably fix the problem.

Chris
They don't have any microswitch there.
It's an electronic door latch.

If it's a really new Focus, it's CANBUS .. know about that without Googling it?
