Par at Royal St George's, the site of the 1993 Open, was 70,

Thanks, Count-a-strong. Did I mean 'lower'? What I actually need to know is, is there any venue where par is (or has been) 73 or 74? Sorry for the confusion.
I live 15 mins away from Royal St Georges gold course in Sandwich, bit of usless info there :)
Meant to say golf, not gold.
The Open Golf Championship is set at courses with a par of 72 or below.
Next years venue ( Royal St Georges ) has a par of 70,as Count mentioned.
Do you tamirra? I'm not that far away from you then.
It doesn't answer your question but the par is irrelevant in pro events as it is the 72 hole total that matters. The media love par because they like to report when someone is shown as say 15 under par.
Where are you then Boxtops x
