It seems to me, that adverts are taking over the programmes, it is quite funny, that I pick up my book and manage to read at least a chapter, and my husband reaches for his notebook, so what do you do?

sometimes the ads are better than the programme so i sometimes watch them

Personally I get on the computer, make a snack or smoke.

visit the loo, especially if Ive been crossing my legs till ads come on. Or make a cuppa. Some ads drive me mad, I even close my eyes or put my fingers in my ears !!!

Generally record for later viewing and then fast fwd. Hate ads.

Yes,Mr-Rubix I do actually read very fast, and take it all in, ask the library. I also can't stand most adverts especially go compare!!

I read, or go out in the garden for a ciggie, I used to channel hop but adverts are on all channels at the same time and most of them really annoy me - or Mrs O's option if kids are out :-)

Tend to record anything on commercial channels to watch later and FF thru them.

McMouse, I do normally watch on catch up when I can, but recently virgin have been awful and I can't get the service which I pay an awful lot for, but that's by the way, I was watching America's got talent after I had recorded it, an hour long programme, and after taking the ads out, it was only 35 mins long.

I dont do anything special unless its time for a cuppa, other than that I just leave the ads on.
