I'l make it short,i first listened to this and saw the film in 1988,wordscant describe it,just watched film version again,with a little buzz off some herbs as one does...Question is does anyone know anybody born in the last 20 years who would understand and feel the way i, as many others do about one of many albums..If i put this on with my kids theyd think i was tapped...Whats happened am i just an old fogie or what?

It's a great album, third or maybe fourth best of the band's oeuvre.

As for your kids liking it, why should they like it any more than you like the stuff they're listening to...? Every generation throws a hero up the pop charts...

Good reply,ok maybe not my kids,they are a bit young,but have mates early 20's,i know its not their cup of tea...Most of em listen Beatles,Queen,The Jam,Specials etc,to name but a few,but this? Seems like more than just a generation,if that makes sense
