If you are desperate, homebrew is not the answer. It takes weeks to make something even half drinkable.

squarebear I know but I am desperate so will have to be that
Why not get some cheap own brand lager from a supermarket. We tried making homebrew and ended up pouring it all down the drain. It was foul.

squarebear I am in a 100% muslim country and the only bear you can buy is alcohol free. Its the only option I have
Ah sorry. I didn't realise that. You are going to need stuff like demi johns, tubes and yeast. I doubt they will sell that out there.
Are you an alcohol free bear SB ? :)
Certainly not. I am the Heineken "follow the bear" but I'm probably showing my age now.
Muslims do unspeakable things to bears.
Haha....I know who you are now :-)
sugar, water, bread yeast. This will make the most basic alcoholic drink known to man. I'd be tempted to mix it with orange squash.

You'll need to dissolve the sugar in the water, cool to room tempterature, put back in bottles and yeast, shake like hell and screw the caps half on - allowing the Co2 to escape.

Leave for 12 days. Add half a teaspoon of sugar to each bottle and tighten the cap full.

As a guide; 4 kilos of sugar in 15L of water will give you something in the ballpark of 7%
