Can I connect speakers to a Samsung 19" LCD tv to improve the sound quality? If so, can anyone recommend a reasonably priced set?

How old is this TV?

You can get speakers with a headphone jack and put that in the headphone socket of the tv.

If you say what the model number is it may help people answer.
