Should £6 million a year man Fabio Capello be sacked because after 2 years :-

He still cant speak English properly

He keeps starting or bringing on a 50 year old Heskey

He still frightens the English players and the fans

He knows nothing about motivating obscenely overpaid players when they play for England

He hasn’t heard of hearts or minds

He is an Italian secret agent on a mission to destroy English Football

He doesn’t drink beer

Hes a martinet

He spoilt the World Cup WAG Circus

He rotates the English Captaincy far too often

He couldn’t sort out the Lampard Gerrard problem

He doesn’t have affairs with FA secretaries or Ulrika Johnson

He was the architect of England’s heaviest ever World Cup Defeat - and by Germany

He waves his arms about like a whirling dervish and mimes in Italian on the touchline

He even frightens Psycho Stuart Pearce

He has difficulty picking goalkeepers and then picks Butter Fingers as his No 1

He picked David Beckham for the Squad knowing full well he wasn’t fit

Hes got a funny chin

He got us only 5 points and 2nd place in the easiest group in World Cup Final history

He is not an English Patriot and doesn’t sing the English National Anthem - the swine !

He blames the ball and match officials for England’s world cup woes

He sometimes still pretends he doesnt understand

What do you think - and let me know if I missed any ?

The FA are nothing more than a jumped up working mans club committee

old, clueless and stubborn.
Beats me why the FA would renegotiate Capello's contract just weeks before the World Cup to give him 2 more years. As it was, he could have walked or been sacked yesterday at no additional cost.
It,s all over for Capello. They say every picture tells a story......I,ve just seen Capello addressing the men...they all looked stressed and almost standing to attention. It looked like infants school.Like being in the army. This no way to run a football team. Perhaps they couldn,t understand what he was saying. There was certainly a lack of communication off and on the field, and the Germans had twice as much spirit and twice as much pace. They ran rings round us I,m afraid.
Anyone who earns £100k a week doesn't need to work and they didn't.
I expect they will all get a rise thats how we treat failures in this country.

It doesn't matter no one else can do anything with this lot .

"...............The Government donates £25million (from our taxes) to the English FA. We should demand better accountability before they get anymore of our cash." Good point and good post Gromit.
Olddutch you missed out the birthday. We shouldn't have a Manager who has a birthday during the World Cup because his emphasis is on his birthday party and presents and not the Cup.

That's probably why the team played badly in the first two games - birthday invite dispute. Wonder who Capello left off his list?

But I like his glasses and I like that he can stand the pressure so I think he should stay. But he should have replaced Rooney with Crouch and Heskey was no good.
I would go along with Redmans post on this thread this morning.
No matter how bad the players were, it is down to the manager and how he uses them, and he certainly failed miserably in that respect. No one can understand a word he says - no wonder the players were confused

"Richards was made chairman of the Premier League in 1999 and left Sheffield Wednesday shortly afterwards with the club facing relegation from the Premiership, despite claiming to be a big fan and wholly responsible for the position they were in"

"This man is a complete and utter cretin. There are a whole number of idiots at the FA and their bureacratic s**te is a disgrace to football in this country. Mind you, as for the rest of he world, just take a look at Platini and fifa"

see what you mean gromit

Seadragon "I might send a copy of my c.v to BBC or ITV sports coverage and cover the next European and World Cup?" yes, lady sports presenters, even commentators seem to be slowly on the rise
Keep Fabio they need more discipline, I feel that Terry tried to undermine his authority Rooney didn't perform what more could we do with players who felt the competition was beneath them I say keep 80% of the old squad and start afresh with players who want to play for there country.
It will take time but we will become great again and get the bloody players to sing the anthem lets bring back some pride!!!
