My 5 year old son is having loose stool/diarrhea for a month. I have stopped giving him milk and milk related products, eg cheese, cream and oily/sour stuff. We have tried both western & chinese medicine, didn't seemed to work. He experienced incomplete evacuation, having loose yellowish stool, usually in the morning & evening, associated with stomachaches. His appetite remained well. I wonder if anyone can advise me on remedies for diarrhea? Thank you in advance.

If this is a change in habit and it's been going on for a month, I recommend you take him to your GP. He is very young and any change in toilet habits should be investigated - there may be a medical reason, you need to have him checked out.
as boxtops said, a month of this should be investigated. It may have been a GP that gave you the medication, but as it hasnt worked you should see them again.
my friend was reinfecting herself with something (i think is was some kind of bug) by retouching surfaces...spray antibac on every doorknob, lightswitch etc in the whole house...just to be sure
