I have enjoyed a night out with people I worked with, took the pish out of this guy who had dreadful green flowered shorts on with black socks,
eweeeee..lol, he was only 29, and he laughed along with us as a good sport, Bless him!
but I have also learned of a good friend of mine who is only 52, she's been given a few weeks to live and I am so sad for her family, I see her face now even as I type, very pretty, very vivacious, always did the North Run, happy and smiley....
yes, I am very sad tonight folks

ttfn, she is a lovely person who last year, got a unusual smell in her nose all the time
brain tumor!
she was a nail beautician and a joy to be around, I still can't believe it
That's very sad to hear - my mother recently died 5 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer (she was 61) and part of me thinks it was a blessing that she went so quickly (she only had one night in hospital, no operations, no chemo, etc). x

Linda has gone through Chemo and Radio sherrardk, I am sorry to sound so maudling tonight, but poor girl , they said they could shrink it...
I am sorry for your sad loss too pet x
I get v maudling too - it just comes over you in waves, doesn't it. Four weeks after my mam went my grandad died too (that was two months ago) - fine most of the time (am v busy as I have 5 kids) but far quicker to tears than I used to be (and still haven't changed my phone call list from Mam & Dad to just Dad!)
Sorry - not exactly cheering you up am I? x

Och its a sore one Joy:(
But I have to say that theres never a truer saying that no-one literally knows whats around the corner.-we do -he didnt thankfully.
He is with us daily -thats unspoken but when i knew I had to let go to a degree was when i was drunk after a day out with another ABer (led me astray) and left my phone on the Megabus and when I got another phone and another SIM card no numbers had been saved -i'd lost his and it was poignant but it was a sign that after 2 and half years he wasnt gonna answer....
Joy -what can I say -her family and herself must be going through emotions that you darent think about -my thoughts are with them x
Question Author
