Fragmentation Attack

A friend asked my advice regaring an error message during sending of a hotmail email under Vista.
Partial detail was something about a fragmentation attack being detected by Panda.
I have not experienced this myself but expect it is something malicious intercepting email data.
Anyone had this ?

Pandas can be quite viscious when disturbed, although I never heard of one fragmenting anyone.
On the other one, never heard of it .. serch their site for clues! : )
