The light has just come on then will go off now on again. The car had an MOT last month there was now problem can this be fixed without going to the dealer Help

Cabriolet seats in the back.

sometimes when the front seats are moved back and forwards, the wires to the seatbelt tensioners move and thats what can cause the airbag light to come on, just a guess but worth a look

forgot to say wires are under the front seats

AlBags

They are there to connect up the firing mechanism of the pre-tensioners. Like Mat says, check these for damage/looseness first.
