what is the canon ending for resident evil 1? also if i were to play all the games in order of events ie: resident evil zero, 1, nemisis part 1, resident evil 2, nemisis part 2, 4 and then 5 where and would outbreak fit in so that i get a whole story without jumping back and forth through time?

but when you play resi 5, as you go through the game, it tells you the date of certain key events in the resi time line. like when it all began, i think it said 1966. so while your playing number 5 it all makes sense as you can follow the time line as you go... if thats what you meant?

Have you read any of the books?not just the ones that go with the films(OH says they cover a lot more detail) they are by S D Perry,apparently very good
