Does anyone know how he dodged the Draft. I read John Denzmore's book and he mentions dropping Jim off at the draft office but the fact of how he did it was never revealed

If I remember rightly he pretended he was gay. This is also why Jim fell out with his parents as his Dad was a Navy Captain.
