Is this discrimination towards a part time worker.

Would this be classed as discrimination? A residential home with full and part time staff. When rota is done, full timers get their set hours first. Bank staff who I'm told aren't really Bank but who have set hours. Part time fill in the slots ( all the crap in other words) Any advice please.

I'm sur ethis has all been asked before- Philipinos i recall were getting the long plum shifts.

Yes, it is quite possibly discriminatory if employed full-timers are given the pick of the shifts before the employed part-timers get a look-in.
I still don't get the bit about 'bank staff' - they are contract staff aren't they? - so they can't be compared.
