Including photo title when using photos as screen saver

I use my photos as a screen saver on my laptop however the title of the photo no longer comes up on the top of the photo as it used to.
I presume that it is because I now store my photos on an external memory instead of the laptops memory?
If so, is there a way to display the name of the photo again?

Thanks.

I assume you are using the slideshow screensaver then?

If so, right click on the desktop, select properties (or personalize if vista) then select screen saver, click settings next to the drop down list where you select the screensaver and put a tick in "show file name"

Thanks Chuck but when I get to the Screen Saver Settings box it only seems to say:
- Use pictures from ... and
- Slideshow speed.

I cant seem to get to the 'show file name' option.

(I have windows 7)
The "photos" screensaver on W7 is not the same as the "My Pictures Slideshow" screensaver on XP. If you have access to an XP machine, you can copy ssmypics.scr from Windows\System32 on the XP machine to the same folder on the Win7 machine, and then you'll find it listed as a screensaver option.

Oh now that is a bit beyond me rojash!
But from your answer can I presume that I can't have the titles come up on the photos on Windows 7?
That's correct

Thats a nuisance. I thought that Windows 7 would do at least what its predecessors did.
