What a no-hoper. He was there to explain about the consequences of massive spending cuts, as we had in the 1980's and all he could talk about was Grange Hill and Hollyoaks, leaving John O'Farrell completely bemused. I despair!

No, but I did watch the sketch of that debt mountain and showed what £6 billion reduction would have on our total debt. It was so miniscule that many were left wondering how the real problem could be tackled.

It is obvious that our problems cannot be solved by tinkering at the edges.

Whats needed is the complete anniliation of one of our departments of State, say DEFRA. Any necessary work could be passed over to other departments to handle.
No real difference when private institutions buy up a rival company put thousands on the dole and act more efficiently.
