grease removal

how do i remove a grease splash from a viscose dress. ive washed it on 30degrees as instructed with a little bit of washing powder but it hasnt worked.

Would Vanish soap work?

I always use neat fairy liquid( or equiv) and that seems to do it. Good luck.

the fabric seems to be very delicate, a 3 colour tie die dress, the stain being on the stomach area right in the middle on the brown section. im scared it will make the fabric fade.

Eucalyptus oil ....put some tissue underneath and dampen the spot with the eucalyptus then blot up as much as you can then wash as usual ( as Euc. is a very volatile oil it dissolves heavier oils/fats but breaks up in detergent. )

Make a paste with some Bicarbonate of Soda and water and put on the stain, leave for about 30 mins then wash in biological detergent
