aerial to scart socket adaptor?

Hi My portable tvs aerial socket is playing up as when I turn the tv on I have to play with the aerial connection to get a picture.Is there such a thing as a scart lead plug that I can push into the scart socket on back of tv with a connector for the co axial lead (female) on its rear.Thanks.

Unplug from the Mains and take the back off and have a look at the Aerial connection socket as it could just be a bit loose, also have a look at the Male connector at the end of the lead. It's not a scart lead issue.

if you do take the back of the TV for gawd sake be very careful what you touch!

There are parts inside a TV that remain at a very high voltage for a long time after the TV has been disconnected from the mains and they can easily kill!

The easiest solution would surely be a cheap freeview box.
