I have bought an old Fiesta with a cassette radio fitted.

I am looking to replace it with a CD radio from e bay, the 6000 model.

Some appear to have a circular volume control, while others have a volume rocker switch.

Is one better than the other? Which type is the newest? Anything else I need to know?

Thanks.

Go for the circular .. They are more reliable.

I followed your advice and bought one - £42 including postage.

Just fitted it and it is excellent.

I actually prefer the rotary volume control, as it is easier to find and adjust without looking at the unit.
