I need a great hair conditioner?

I am looking for a fab conditioner for my hair, the ones you get with hair dye kits always have a bottle or tube of 'special' conditioner contained in them, and I wondered if you can buy this type without buying the hair dye ? My hair is long and quite thick...so need something to tame it down, it tangles easily .....any help and adivce would be great thanks all !

I bought a small tube of Clairol conditioner for coloured hair it was in Boots or Tesco. The Aussie 3 min conditioner is brill

Asda do the wee sachets that come with dye - can't remember what kind it is, Nice n Easy or something. They tend to be in a wee basket type bit at the end of the shampoo aisle.

An after shower leave in treatment with silicon or silicone...for shine and softness. not great for fine hair.
