Seriously - what on earth is up with this party?

At least Mr Wiffen has now been deselected as a candidate, but is he simply a bad apple, or is the whole barrel dodgy? I mean, does anyone find it scary that someone standing for parliament doesn't even understand basic constitutional process?

Good point. All parties have their members who don't meet the standards expected of public servants.

But (and this is a BIG 'but') but after reading about Nigel Farage, Lord Dartmouth, Robert Kilroy-Silk, Dr Richard North, Peter Watson you have to ask yourself...how comes a party which is so small have so many dodgy members???
Lucy, I'd say yes to your querstion
Every political party either has, or has had, its fair share of "nutters" and mavericks.
Just the BNP in disguise.
