I can't find any info on the Ford website, so I'll try here! There are now two 2.0 TDCi (Diesel) engines available in a Mondeo. One is 140ps and the other is 163ps. Realistically, what difference would you find between the two? I realise the 163 is more powerful, but do those extra 23ps really make that much difference?

It's more about torque with diesels.
Not a lot of bhp, but compare the torque curves. New one is probably flatter and more flexible driving, which helps to improve mpg under some circumstances.
