My oh does pretty much everything around the house as well as working 9am-5pm, 5 days a week. I am quite disabled these days but I do insist on doing the laundry after he ruined a lot of my stuff by not sorting out the coloureds and whites.lol
He also cleans his parent's house every Sunday.
From the time my OH moved in with me we have had joint accounts. All expenses come from the current account and if we have any spare we move it to a savings account.
As far as housework/gardening is concerned, we both do whatever needs doing. If I am out walking the dog, he will clean the house. If he is washing the car, I clean the house. We both do the gardening unless it is a particularly heavy job that I can't manage. He does about 2/3 of the cooking, I tend to make the 'receipe' stuff. I do the ironing but he generally hangs the washing on the line.
You may have guessed that we don't work now but when we both worked full time we still shared the jobs.
have to be honest and say that inside the house i do very little as i have a very busy work schedule.

having said that, i always do the "bloke" jobs like washing cars, mowing the lawn, putting bins out, putting spiders out, fixing anything that the wife has broken, all the diy etc. i also do the cooking, empty the dishwasher, sort the girls out for breakfast before work, bath them if i get home in time, and generally the 'big' clean outs. mrs kou does the rest really, including spending all our money.
The man hostage is currently cooking dinner and he hoovered earlier on, he's way more tidy and a better cook than me. He's a star.
My Wife's hubby is fantastic......;-)
I live with a Jack s........ too. Now he is too old to change (take note all you singletons)
Examples of all the good (ex) husband stuff i do:
Slate my ex-wife to every person I meet
Laugh about her inadequicies (whilst weeping inside about mine)
Try and sleep with as many of her friends as possible
Make her current squeeze feel inadequate by telling my kids war stories whilst he's in earshot
Tell her all about the young ladies who are all over me like a rash (Discalimer: Some of these ladies may or may not exist) when she asks what i've been up to

Basically, i'm an arrsehole to my ex wife. And I love it :-)
Won't hear a word against mine. He's a saint. He cooks, does the washing-up and the laundry and makes my packed lunch every day. He cleans the toilet too, bless him, even when I'm the one who's ... erm ... dirtied it! He gets up first most mornings, brings me a cuppa and walks the dog before going out to work, and he'll often get some shopping in on the way home too.

About the only thing he doesn't like doing is hoovering and decorating. When he's had to do it, he's deliberately done a bad job so that I'll take over.
Must be wonderful to have a saint around the house saxy.
We both work full time - but I start early so that I am home to pick up the kids from school. We do share the work, though I would say that I still do more most days because I am home earlier. He takes care of the dishwasher and kitchen most of the time and does all the ironing and will put a washing in and hang it out when he remembers. I do all the bathrooms and the toilet. He will change our bed and run the hoover but forgets about the kids room. I do 90% of the shopping, all the other cleaning and tidying. Bins are shared as is garden but he normally mows - he bought a petrol mower, so it is now a man's thing! Cooking I would say is mostly mine weekdays as I am home earlier but he will cook at weekends. Majority of childcare and running about to their clubs etc is also mine, but he will take them out at the weekend for a couple of hours so that I can get the cleaning done in peace! He would do anything without moaning if I asked him to, but doesn't tend to notice if something needs done. He does enjoy having a good clearout of the garage, so i can sneak some stuff in there knowing he will sort it out at some point ;o)
Well all 3 of mine helped pay for it, and that was enough for me, the cleaner does the rest.
