yeah it is a shame northernmonkey,
mind, hes not been in it much since ol vera died has he, due to ill health apparently. hes going at the end of the year and they say he will go with a bang! whatever that means?! lol
ahh.. itll be nice that he will be reunited with vera eh...

I heard on the radio that he is leaving in November just after corries 50th anniversary and yes hes not been in it much due to ill health.

Shame about ill health - ive spoken to him in person and he is such a nice bloke
