What Colour

I've got a nice dressy top which is a dark cherry red almost maroon colour. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest what colour trouser would be best to go with it please.

I'm going out and was thinking of wearing the top in the evening when I next stay at a hotel where guests dress up a bit in the evening when on holiday in a sunny climate.

I'd have said a paler grey like dove grey.

I agree with you, Annie. Zara and Massimo Dutti have some gorgeous grey silk trousers atm. Alternatively, black is a good old faithful and beige/wheat coloured linen trousers would look very classy too.

dark blue jeans and if i may suggest, red heels and matching lipstick, would probably work a treat with it aswell.

I think both shades of grey would suit. I'm imagining the rich dark almost maroon colour against the 'slate' grey x

Iwould choose cream trousers, and high, high red heels.
