last week i moved my tv to the other end of my lounge using an aerial extension on a reel.it was fine the first day but ever since the picture and sound keep freezing, all channels including freeview are affected and it is virtually unwatchable.i was wondering if the aerial extension is affecting the signal or could it be the fact that its now about 5 feet away from my pc and that could be interfering with the signal.ive moved it back to original place tonight and its fine but i really need it in a different place because i have a new corner sofa unit and not everyone can watch it now.any help appreciated.

Proper screened aerial cable should be tries. Get someone you might? know to make you one up from aerial cable and two plugs. I think it is the extension (probably not screened properly by design)

thank you will try that.
The cable which feeds your TV must be as short as possible and should be a high quality coax. Try and buy a cable with just enough length to allow you to move the TV to the location you want, don't use a wound cable reel. Your Freeview reception requires the best possible signal and you will be loosing signal through the reel.
