Vaginal bleeding and your period. difference??

During the first week of November last year, I was very sick so my boyfriend at the time came over to take care of me. I am very against having sex before marriage and he knows that, and I thought he respected that. So I took Nyquil and snuggled up to watch a movie and fell asleep. I woke up with my pants down and him on top of me. He had raped me and I was completely powerless. I am sooo scared I'm pregnant right now. I didn't tell anyone because when I was younger I was sexually abused by my grandpa and I didn't want to see my family go through that again. I regret it so much now. But this is probablly a really stupid and awkward question, but I'm confused on the difference between vaginal bleeding and your period. Does it occur around the time your period is supposed to? Ive had bleeding either a week late or a few days before I would be scheduled to have my period since it happened. But i'm still terrified I'm pregnant. I just want some peace of mind about this so I can begin to heal and move on with my life. I've taken two pregnancy tests and they were negative but I still don't know. Please help!!!

daffy...I know what she said, but nobody here knows what really happened.

My point is, if we call him anything at all, it should be an "alleged rapist"
When did you get so political correct Sqad? Alleged rapist then...but true all the same.
As in what you say...
my gosh i feel for you i REALLY do !!!!!!!!!!
you can and should contact your g.p to do a test .
the most important thing you can do is get some emotional help with not just this but with the abuse you suffered as a child
please please i urge you to talk to someone about your rape your gp can put you in touch with proffestional people.
The longer you leave it sweetheart the more it wll affect you in years to come xxxx
i really do wish you the very best of luck xxxx
ummm...I am not being politically correct, my point is that rape may not have happened at all. The only evidence that we have is that of the poster, no medical evidence and certainly we have not heard the boyfriend's side of the story.
Understand that....but we only have the posters story to go on.
ummmm...exactly.

So are you entitled to label someone a "rapist" on that evidence?
regardless of if you think she has been raped or not the fact is a history of abuse has already happened prior to this event and it is a possibility so its a question of taking care of her emotional needs gaining some support and then going from there
Can't really believe I have just read - Squad and his post(s) doubting the Rape.
I don't for the slightest second, believe that anything said by Johnsonn5 is untrue. I'm not looking for an argument so don't expect to get one.
well said northenmoney im with you !!!!
You sit with two people and hear both sides of the story. Her side and then his side....
zzxxee - cant understand why he would try and defend a Rapist .... Would be interested to know should you feel like you can justify the comments squad please do explain !!

Ummmm - I do believe in hearing both sides of any story but I think that this is clear what "his" would version of events would TRUTHFULLY be the exact same? That a fair comment ?
sorry.. are we a jury? it's not for us to decide whether someone is guilty or innocent. if the poster believes an offence has been committed it's up to them to report it to the police. if it went to court and he pleaded not guilty, it's for the jury to decide the verdict.

either way, the poster should see a doctor.
northernmonkey....a Rapist is someone who has performed the act of rape.

What evidence do we have that a rape has been committed?
Only the evidence of the poster.

It is not unusual for women to cry rape for a multitude of reasons and when the facts come to light, there has never been a rape committed.
This saddles an innocent man with months of torment for his family and possibly his career.

I am not saying that this is the case here, but to describe the boyfriend as a "rapist" to me, is a bit premature.
Just don't think that this is right place for your questions
Can I just point out that the poster appears to be American, so any advice regarding GPs, NHS direct and any legal consequences may not be relevant, or understood by Johnsonn5.
nope i wouldnt say so. English not american
You can't get Nyquil in the UK - it's Nightnurse here. They only sell Nyquil in the US and the Netherlands.
where is johnsonn5, she hasn't replied to any answers?
