Hi. I belong to a non-profit organisation (not a charity). If we want to make it possible for people to donate money online, or via the organisation's website, what are the options for getting this set up? Are there any sites along the line of JustGiving.com, but that can be used by non-charities? Or is there a different way of setting up a secure method for people to donate?

Thanks very much.

Hi
There are a number of ways to donate online but I think - https://www.paypal-business.co.uk would be the best option for many reasons - main ones - Because a large number of People have paypal accounts (for ebay ect) so would be preferable to another site which potentially could be a security risk. If somebody wishing to Donate didn't have a Paypal account then they would have no problems/difficulties in setting one up. It would also be a benefit in terms like - When writing / seeking a donation from Companies/Organisation's - It is likely that paypal would be the most suitable/convenient option. Sorry about waffling on, hope this helps.

Thanks northernmonkey, I'll definitely look into it.
I'd recommend PayPal, I use it for eBay selling and purchasing, and they have a section where you can donate part of a sale to charities. The donations are collected from PayPal by an organisation called MissionFish which distributes the money to the chosen charities (and the Gift Aid sign-up option is given there too).
