you can have you crusty steak baguette with caramelised onions then - Or a leg of pork bap...or both!
Give me all you've got merciasounds ! :-))
oh my
I'll probably go for both...

Personally I'm not keen on ribs....but I do love the sauce so I'm sure they will go down well.

Are you doing any salad stuff?

Ummmm - I certainly shall, the various lettuces/salad leaves i grow will have been dug up that morning, I'll have to source some good well flavoured toms as mine won't be ready from the greenhouse, but i shall have thinly sliced cucumber, mild Spanish onion, red onion and spring onions too. I'll make several dressings too, a grainy mustard and honey one, and a lemon/olive oil herby one....anything else?
could i have an avocado salsa - just for me though
Stop being so selfish fluff..!!!

Sounds lovely Mercia....what about other salads...potato/rice. Turns a baguette into a proper meal...cheaply :-) (but I don't mind carbs) They can be done in advance as well...
poo, ok i'll share, just with you though

Well, you have to remember that I'm there basically to flog my pork, venison and beef, and everything has to be organic - the salads and dressings etc are the icing on the cake really
Are you going to share the BBQ sauce recipe with us ?
Yum that sauce sounds nice.

Do share.

I always hate it when people ask for recipes from me because, i've been doing thises things for so many years, I never measure anything, i make by eye if you know what i mean, but here goes:

I will say 'measures' you can use an old tea cup, an egg cup, a mug, for how ever much you want to make it's a matter of ratio!

2 measures tom ketchup (I'm using an old teacup here)
1/2 tube tom puree
I large onion chopped fine and 2 fat cloves garlic, crushed (sautee in a little oil until soft)
1/2 measure of soft brown sugar
1/3 measure balsamic or ordinary vinegar/cider vinegar, whatever
1-1and a half cups Jack Daniels
1 tablespoon BBQ spice
worcester sauce - whaddya mean how much - told you....about.....that much! Oh alright, a couple of tablespoonsful
1/2 a measure of molasses or black treacle

Cook altogether in a saucepan till lovely and thick, use on pork ribs, chicken, chops and steaks, burgers and sausages.....
I'll bring my own then :-)

It all sounds really good. I hope a few Abers do turn up?

Keep us informed....
Or you could save yourself the bother and just buy this...

But Boo, didn't you read the bottom of the website - it says there's NO ALCOHOL in their sauces or marinades - where's the fun in that?!!!!
I asked OH if we could go to the food fair...he said yes but do we have to bring the kids. To which I replied 'of course, who will wake us up when we get to our station'
