yes 24 - four aces wins a game, six games wins a set.

Could it be 36 as opponent needs to double fault so 8 strokes when he serves.
Oldred, that is true, I'd only thought of the winning player's number of strokes - depends on what the question is actually asking for....
boxtops, that gives another possibility of only 12 strokes as you would only need 3 service games!

12 aces by you and 12 double faults by your opponent (or a single serve and a 'winner').

So, 12 minimum for a single player, 36 in total for both players.

I seem to remember that they got this wrong on "Who wants to be a millionaire"
