Want to avoid 7 years bad luck. Moved into a house that used to be owned by a dancer. One room has an entire wall of massive mirrors. Want to take them off but don't want 7 years bad luck for each one (28 YEARS!). No way off taking them off without breaking them. Like everything else in this house they've been fitted with 'No Nails Glue'.

Is there a way of breaking a mirror but doing something to cancel the bad luck? in the same way that when you spill salt you throw it over your left shoulder.

it was 7 years bad luck because back in victorian times if the maids broke a mirror it would take 7 years worth of their wages then to pay their employer back. So now it would be about 1hrs bad luck, so just go to bed for those hours

On the other hand, it's only superstition. Get them off the best way you can, and if you're still not keen, see if a decent glazier can help.
Set up a whole pile of logs in a way in which they will fall on the mirrors, then leave the room.

You won't be breaking the mirrors, the logs will. :-)
Get someone else to do it who isn't superstitious so they'll have the bad luck!
I'll do it. Such superstitious nonsense has no place in the 21st century.
paint over them
