Message not delivered. If I sne a text and that phrase appaers on the screen...

...does it mean that the recipients phone isn't switched on and they'll get the text when they do switch it on? Or do I need to send it again?

If I go into my sent box it says 'message pending' if their phone is off.

It says 'message failed' if

1) I don't have enough credit
2) I've put in the wrong number
