We have already booked our holiday (about four weeks ago) but my mother is very ill (she was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago) - is it possible to get holiday insurance which would cover us in the event of her taking a turn for the worse?

Some may cover you if you disclose the possibilty of having to cancel due to an existing situation, but expect to pay through the nose for it
