Where should I buy a saxophone?

I want to get a saxophone, alto probably. I want a decent one but not too expensive as I'll be starting from scratch basically. What are the best makes and places to buy?

Hey Steph84, I don't live in the U.K., as I am from the States, but I just wanted to tell you that playing th alto sax is a great idea...I played the sax in school for a little while and when I stopped playing I forgot everything..now I majorly regret it...I was the one and only female alto sax player in a group full of guys, adn I played with my Dad's ol saxophone (following in his footsteps I guess)...I always liked to call it the sexy-phone...haha!
