I have a circa 1950's German, Noris Trumpf halogen 5x5 +6x6 cm. slide projector, which I use a lot for my work. It has suddenly started to turn off the light for a few seconds and then come back on again only to keep repeating this. I have replaced the bulb and tried to check connections to no avail. Anobody any thoughts on this please?

Thanks for interest but I've just found the problem. I took apart the 'Non dismantleable' 2 stage power switch and found deposits on one of the contacts. Cleaned, it now seems to be working fine again. As I said, it was made in the 1950's, -good german engineering, but even the Germans don't give 1/2 century guarantees. Thanks.
Didn't make halogen lamps in the 50's either! But good on you. Keep on using it!

Good point MJWMAN, well whenever they started making 'em I guess its dates from around then. The printed matter with it has a distinctly 50's look. Cheers!
