What? You need to make appointment with doctor. You dont need to say whats wrong when making appointment? I dont at my doctors. If you are being sick and its lasted 3 months you need to check it out. What about ringing NHS direct?
If you are in England ring NHS Direct, they are there now, 0845 46 47, and ask for their advice. or go to your local walk-in centre if they are still open. You sound a bit desperate and it can't help that the surgery say they can't see you soon. Even if it turns out to be nothing serious, it sounds like you need someone to listen to you - your symptoms have been going on for quite a long time now - have you looked for medical advice before this?. You can also look at the NHS Direct website http://www.nhsdirect....at/InitialAssessment/ but I think you'd do better speaking to a real person on the phone. Give it a try - good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

i tried a few times and they just keep saying there too full and it doesnt sound serious were i lived b4 i had no problem to see them
its horrible cos at the min i am by myself he is at work cant get in contact and my family live 4 hrs away so i am in this by myself and it is scary
phone NHS direct. There will be somebody there. 0845 46 47
Ring NHS direct now - if it is serious they will tell you and advise you if you need to go to hospital or see an out-of-hours doctor. Do it now
I am not a fan of NHS Direct.

Not enough information, but nothing serious comes to mind.

I assume that the pain only comes on at night.....during the day one assumes that you are pain free? It lasts for 20mins during which time you vomit.
Is that correct.....what is the colour of your vomit?

When you say that it starts in your stomach and goes to your rib cage, which part of the stomach...bottom right, bottom left middle......where?

Is it a colicky pain or a constant pain?

Far too many unknowns here to attempt a rational diagnosis.

As I have mentioned above, nothing serious comes to mind but you need to see your GP as other posters have said, going to the surgery even without an appointment and making them take the ultimate responsibility of either seeing you or turning you away.

It does not sound a serious medical condition.
Sqad and everyone are right. What I'm struggling to believe is that a doctors surgery can turn anyone down for an emergency appointment - because they cant. Not only that, if this has been going on for so long you could have booked an appointment to see your doctors ages ago. The people making the appointment bookings aren't even doctors (not usually), nor will they ask for symptoms. The NHS would probably recommend Accident and Emergency, they have done for every ilness I've ever spoke to them about; but I agree with Sqad with regards to the NHS service. Good luck with it but seriously I'd suggest you consider moving to a different doctors surgery if possible because it seems like they haven't a clue how to run one at your current surgery! Believe me you can't be at a surgery any worse than the once I'm a patient at - they were on the BBC news for being the worst Doctors Surgery in the UK.
you said in earlier Q - due to pigging out. Control the greed!
Serious pigging out to cause that pain! and I though I was greedy lol ;)
