Does anyone know any of the free scanning software downloads. Should work free as well and not just download. Since I got a computer with VISTA my scanning software has stopped working and if I open it, it closes with a non-compatibility message. I have downloaded edoc and it works fine but is not free.

My Laptop is "Bluescreening"

That sounds so familiar.
I head a story like this from Ayabrea38.
Apparently, her scanner used to work fine with Windows ME, but when she tried Windows VISTA and Windows 7, it stopped working.
I'm not sure about the imcompatibility thing happening with her, though.
Congrats anyway. Hope you enjoy your scanner (I don't. It takes half and hour to scan and slows my computer down loads).

Out of curiosity, what was the free Scanning Software you downloaded?
