9 down: "Pad retiree might move into?" (4-1-5-) I have P_E_-A-_E_R_, and I suspect the answer is an anagram of 'pad retiree', but nothing I can come up with leads to a phrase or expression with which I'm familiar... Is it a UK term, or possibly French (pret-a-???, similar to 'pret-a-porter')?

Thanks! I was right that it was French, and that I'd never heard this expression before!
