my friend just bought a hard drive for her computer but i have not seen one like this before i have went through internet pics to see if i could see one like it but no luck.

Love to help, but:
a) The picture looks like window fram and an ivy covered wall
b) You haven't actually asked a question
Can't seen any hard drive but you sure like to take pictures of yourself! :-)
so your friend bought a HDD , and you never saw one like it before ..

I think there are only really 2 things that could be different about a hard dirve.

!) It is a small laptop hard drive (2.5 inch) rather than a desktop hard dirve (3.5 inch)

2) It has a newer SATA connection on the back rather than the old IDE connection.

Could it be either of those?

thank you vhg for your answer and no sarky remarks i have now found out it is a sata drive

squarebear i only have 4 photos of myself on photo bucket will put more on to keep you smiling :) the password for you only to see them is ********

the question was has anyone seen one like this before

hc4361 thank you i have now sorted it i uploaded photos a few months ago and couldn't remember password glad i never had anymore on at the time it is now private thanks
SATA drives have been used in PC's for a few years now
