must be the most repulsive person on TV. An Aussie who has adopted UK as his home, he is so caustic with his comments and considering he is not a skater, should bu$$er off back to Oz. He do well to remember he is talking down to people who are professionals in their own field; and prepared to have a go at something new. What does Gardiner do (apart from choreographing fairies) - faff all.

Seems that the TV producers engage him merely to be controversial.

lol, yeah, have to agree, as much as I love dotty, I cant see why she replied- seeing as she refuses to even watch the programme ;-)

Anyhoo...

I quite like him, yes he's caustic, and a teeny bit nasty, but in all fairness his points are valid and 9 times out 10 I agree with him (sorry!)

No idea who or what you;re on about, i purposefully avoid that sort of show as it is plastic and contrived and so fornatted you know what is going to happen next

Good for you Dot

//No idea who or what you;re on about//

How many times a day do you say that?
Maybe he's Dancing On Ice's answer to Strictly's Mark Revel Horwood. Mind you - what Emma Bunton knows about ice dancing could probably be written on the back of a postage stamp

Sorry I was multi tasking then (obviously very badly). I meant Craig Revel Horwood

When asked to rate each of this year's Dancing On Ice contestants, Gardiner said of Hollyoaks' Chris Fountain:

"I haven't the foggiest who this boy is. He's in Hollyoaks? I don't watch s**t TV. He's only here to raise his profile."

Surely that is exactly what Gardiner is on TV for.
I was commenting on the question and the lack of quality TV the show provides, therefore it seemed quite appropriate to reply on that thread rather than on one not about poor quality TV shows.
I don't think he has to be quite as nasty as he is sometimes. Mostly, I agree with what he says.

Don't think the programme is plastic or contrived - not half as much as Jedward from the X-Factor!
