38 is not particularly young to go grey, I spotted my first grey hair when I was 25, and once it starts, (and you start checking!) its not unusual for it to seem to go all over fairly quickly. I would simply accept it, you can hardly colour all the hair on your body, and I always thought that "Just for men" and so on looked like a load of bother for what is, after all, a natural process! I still have a thick head of hair, and I know for sure, Id rather be grey than balding!

I think you should leave it, and approach middle-age gracefully.

Agree entirely with Impret-Sir. At 53 I still have a full head of grey hair. Strangely enough top part of chest is still covered in reddish hair and belly in black hair. Won't mention the rest!!

My oldest brother started to go grey at 19, he's 57 this December and I think he looks alright.  They say if you go grey first you wont go bald, I dont know if there is any truth in that, although my husband is 50 and is receeding and he hasn't got any grey hairs on his head.

I shouldn't worry your self too much about it, its the person inside which matters most.   :-)

Some really sexy men are grey- Steve Martin for example. Also I have a friend who went grey in his 20s, and he has had white hair all over now for 20 years- thing is, he NEVER seems to age!
My husband was completely grey by your age.He and I both love his full head of grey hair, and women friends always say how lovely it is!His nickname is the silver fox! Grey hair on a younger man is sexy, look at Richard Gere! It didn't do him any harm! Embrace your greyness!
I have a female friend whose hair went white aged 12. She got into trouble at school for bleaching it!. She is very healthy and has always looked really chic

Whatever my mate Adam says it IS true that Philip Schoefield went grey at 18 (or so)!!!!!!!!!

He died it for a few years and then let is appear to go grey once he was a bit older.

I really don't think 38 is that young for going grey - as others have said before me.

George Clooney was going a bit grey in Ocean's 11 and still looked gorgeous!

So don't worry about it.  Many women find it discerning and sexy.  Other men in business may assume that you're a little older and thus a little wiser.  See this as an advantage!

PS - If you do decide to dye it - make sure you do it properly and don't get smudges all over your scalp etc.  Perhaps actually get it done at the hairdresser!

I'm 22 and have started to find quite a few! Its currently at the stage where i can pull them out and cover them with highlights as i have very dark hair but i'm beginning to think that its pointless trying to battle it - we just have to accept what happens happens and we have no control over when.....!
Having said that, I do think it's different for women. I started getting the odd grey hair at 32, and am now 35. I have a few more than I did, but I either pull them out or dye them! But I always dyed my hair anyway- semi permanently. I still feel too young to be going grey, and I will fight them for as long as I can get away with!!!!
I started going grey at 19 (I am female) so have dyed my hair for ages now, but I think men look good grey, very distinguished and sexy, so I would say go with flow !
Take it like a man! I'm 33 and started going grey a fair few years ago. It's fairly advanced now and starting to move below the shoulders. The thing someone said about not going bald if you grey first, is of course, lies told to greying men to reassure them that things won't get worse. I'm testament to that, but there's nothing I can do about it so I don't worry too much.

Ohhh just go grey - as many of the people have said already, it can look very distinguished and I for one love a bit of grey hair - but then again, I also like a lot of hair on my fella's......but that's another story and probably far too much information!

Oh and I'm 32 and going grey already and don't really give a hoot!

Grey is the new black!!!

My husband went grey in his twenties and has his hair really short-has done for years and he is dead sexy-bit George Cloonyish.

Here better grey than none-although that can look sexy too.I'm gonna stop now!!
