need to know the artist and title of song

Please can anybody help me? I have been trying to find the proper title and artist of a song that was out in the early 90's. It was a popular club theme at the time and the instrumental part sounded similar to Joyce Simms. It goes something like this.. "Baby let me love you for the night... you know I want your love, I really need it now, baby let me love you for the night, I got to have your love I really need it now....." Thanks, DC.

Hi there, no its not that one. It was popular club anthem at the time, and I went to a wedding a couple of months ago, and when it was played everyone aged about 30-35 just hit the dance floor. It was a black woman singing with a group, she had a really deep voice. Some more lyrics I remember are  "You know I want your love, my love will treat you right...." then instrumental for a bit (like Joyce Simms). Out the same sort of time as Show Me Love by Robin S, Rhythm is a Dancer etc.??

There's "Baby let me love you for the night" by Kariya early 90's dance track.  Can't confirm if it's the one as nothing seems to have a listing for any lyrics, but then it probably wouldn't if it's a dance track.

It is, as Englishbird surmises, Let Me Love You For Tonight by Kariya. It used to be considered a classic house choon but judging by the responses to this thread everyone's forgotten all about it now... except me!
