Cleaning Patio Furniture

We moved to this house in June 2009, and (for £100) bought the wicker (?) patio furniture from the previous owners.
In the house papers we found the original invoice, and the set was very expensive, (over £1,000) and obviously good quality.
I am wondering whether we should clean it in the spring, there is dust etc between the weaving, and it looks rather grubby.
But if so, how?? I do have a steamer that I use to clean tiles, defrost the freezer etc, and wonder if this would be the thing to use, but don't want to run the risk of spoiling it.
If anyone has such a set, I would welcome any advice on the best way to look after it.
I shall get the cushion covers dry-cleaned professionally.
Help, please!

You could take them outside on a nice dry day and use a Karcher Water Jet Cleaner on them. Maybe it's possible to hire one for the day.
I was about to say the same as redman, so instead I will say a softhaired handbrush and a bit of vigor.
if you google 'cleaning wicker furniture' you'll find lots of info. apparently it can tolerate some moisture, but not a good soaking.
I would vacuum it , or blow the dust off ,wicker will warp
if it gets wet .
I have pressure washed furniture like this. Works well. Pat dry afterwards with towels. Dry naturally out of sun and heat.
I wouldn't use a steamer or jet wash as it could damage the wicker - the less water/pressure the better.
