ESTA passport valid for more than 10 years

Hi - cannot apply for the ESTA as passport is valid for more than 10 yrs, (10 yrs 3 months to be exact) - and the ESTA form will not recognise it! Help! Anyone else had this problem and how was it resolved?

This was an issue in the early days of ESTA, but I thought it had been fixed. Evidently not.

Sorry, don't know the solution.
I had the same issue. When I did the ESTA it said "Awaiting Approval". Within a matter of seconds, I logged back in with my ESTA ref and it came back as "Approved".
