I know we have had a bout enough of hearing about it but I came across this artical on the BBC web site.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8446942.stm
Now My husband says in the 1962/63 snow fall it lasted until June. I remember my mother saying the same thing. I don't remember as I wasn't born until August of 63.
Does any one else who was old enough to remember know how long it lasted. The BBC recon only until March but as I said my mum and my dad and my brothers and sisters as well as my husband said it lasted until June.
Thanks for your time.

63 was a good year to be born. I remember my mum saying "well, it's snowed in June" but she never mentioned which year.
