Reasons for banned questions

Might I respectfully suggest that the AB ed give a reason why a particular question is banned?

I've just had what I considered to be a ligitimate query regarding the whereabouts of Andy Hughes removed, and I am baffled by this decision.

Xollob, rest assured there is a legitimate reason for the Q being banned but it's not your fault in any way.  I doubt the Ed will be able to tell you really, so I'd just not worry about it if I were you.
