Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I have done most of this including one of the unclued entries. Part of the link would seem to be On the feast of Stephen but Good King Wenceslas doesn't fit in the other bits which are unclued. So, I am stuck on 15ac along with 8d and 35ac which are linked somehow to this and the letters I have are hu??ing ?h??i?d - there are three words within those two. Sorry this sounds rather complicated.

Read the title ALOUD and then the last sentence of the preamble (silently, if you like!) for a hint.

The first sentence of the preamble says, "as SPOKEN of in the title"; that is why I suggested you read that title ALOUD. What is one word, 'Rentokil', may be HEARD as three words, so apply that phrase to the three - not two - words you outline in your question. It is then a matter of using Chambers and Brewer's to get 15 across also.

These clues are so central to the whole crossword that even I have to draw the line at just telling you! (Believe me, I wouldn't normally have any qualms about providing a Listener answer.)
