May sound a bit of a typical girly question this but i have a new shape Audi TT 2ltr but am having extreme problems driving this car in this bad weather. The car will not pull off on compacted snow/ice. Is there anything i should be doing?

I know it's not practical, but I wish a skid pan was part of the driving test!
it will be the traction control kicking in go easier on the gas pedel let it find its grip then gentle on the throttle hope this helps abit
It's nice to have the look of sporty low profile tyres like your car has but there pretty useless when there's snow on the road, being wide they don't dig in to the snow they just sit on top of it.
Is your manual or auto? if automatic put it in low gear and just let it gently pull itself until you can slip it into drive, apply same with manual, remember `gently does it`.
