weird fungi????

There is this very weird stuff growing along our wall. At first glance it looks like small curly dog poo but it is not, it is more like some sort of sslimey brown seeweed thing (we dont live by the sea).Am going to take it up tomorrow but has anyone any idea what it is?

Can't help I'm afraid, never having had a small curly dog, I've no idea what their poo looks like :)

w3, There is a mould called 'Fetigo Septica' the other name for it is 'Dog vomit slime mould' Google it, there are various pics, you may recognise.

thank you all, it is still none of those, but on the good news front, it is now gone, thank god! Hopefully never to re-appear! many thanks for all your help.
