Would you think it was unusual not to have 'reception' drinks at a wedding?

Hiya,

Just wondering, I am getting married next year and was wondering if you would think it strange that when you came out of the ceremony, there was a bar instead of a 'drinks reception' type thing where there is either a table of drinks for you to just pick up and drink or waiters serving you drinks?

Thanks
Kim
